UAE: Flydubai Partially Restores Flights from Dubai International Airport

Asma Ahmed - | UAE

All flights departing from Dubai International Airport have been grounded lately due to operational issues experienced by low-cost airline Flydubai.

Nevertheless, the airport's flight operations have partially resumed, which is a major step forward in the company's recovery efforts. On Wednesday, April 17, at 10 a.m., the restart was initiated.

Because of the bad weather, FlyDubai has changed the way it does business. Notably, the airline has changed the departure location of many flights at Dubai International Airport to Terminal 2. Planes from Terminal 3 are expected to resume after midnight, with further planes departing after 8 p.m. local time.

Flydubai is committed to reducing inconveniences for passengers and has admitted that weather conditions have affected its operations. We are actively working to get flights back to normal and make sure everyone gets where they're going safely. The airline is aggressively contacting impacted passengers to ensure they receive full refunds for their tickets in the event of cancellations.

Before making your way to the airport, flydubai recommends that travelers check the flight status section on their website. The goal of this preventative action is to let travelers know the current situation of their flights so they may better organize their trips.

In addition, travelers who used a travel agency to buy their tickets are advised to get in touch with that agency directly if they need help with rebooking or getting their money back. Furthermore, customers are kindly asked to update their contact information in the Manage Booking part of FlyDubai's website. This will help us communicate any additional modifications or updates to your trip plans more effectively.

Flydubai is taking steps to get back to normal after weather-related interruptions, and they're putting the safety and convenience of their passengers first.
