The Civil Service Bureau in the State of Kuwait announced the date of the blessed Eid Al-Fitr holiday, as it announced the suspension of work in all ministries, government agencies, public bodies and institutions, starting from Friday, corresponding to April 21, until Tuesday, corresponding to the 25th, provided that it is the first, second, and third days of Eid Al-Fitr. The Chief of the Court, Dr. Issam Al-Rubaian, stated in a press release issued yesterday, Wednesday, that the official working hours will resume on Wednesday, corresponding to the 26th of this month. He added that agencies and agencies of a private nature of work determine their holidays while taking the public interest into account.
On the other hand, responsible oil sources told the Kuwaiti newspaper Al-Anbaa that the annual increase for workers in the oil sector has been approved, after completing the annual evaluation of the employees of the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation and its subsidiaries, as the disbursement is scheduled to take place with the April salaries, which are expected to be deposited. Prior to the Eid Al-Fitr celebration.
According to the sources, the annual salary increase was granted to employees based on their annual evaluation, with a minimum of 2.5% for a "very poor" evaluation and a maximum of 9% for a "excellent high" evaluation, as was the case in previous years.
