UAE announces Full list of parking fees, zones in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah

Dubai's parking zones are divided into three categories, labeled A to K, with specific regulations and fees for each. These zones include commercial, non-commercial, and special areas. Each zone has its own designated parking times and corresponding charges.

For instance, side parking zones (code A) operate from Monday to Saturday, from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., with fees ranging from Dh2 for 30 minutes to Dh16 for 4 hours. Similarly, plot parking zones (code B) have varying fees, such as Dh3 for 1 hour and Dh20 for 24 hours.

The Knowledge Village, Dubai Media City, and Dubai Internet City fall under code F, with parking fees starting from Dh2 for 1 hour. On the other hand, zones like Burj Khalifa and Dubai Silicon Oasis have different rates, with fees ranging from Dh4 to Dh16 per hour.

The three levels of Jumeirah Lakes Towers (JLT) are I, J, and K, and the prices for each tier range from Dh2 to Dh32 for different time periods. On Sundays and public holidays, parking in Dubai is free; however, if you pay by SMS, an additional 30 fils will be withheld.

Abu Dhabi's parking system, Mawaqif, operates differently, with premium and standard zones offering different rates and timings. For example, premium zones charge Dh3 per hour with a maximum stay of 4 hours, while standard zones charge Dh2 per hour or Dh15 for 24 hours, with free parking on Sundays and public holidays.

In Sharjah, paid parking is available from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. on all major roads, with fees ranging from Dh2 for an hour to Dh15 for the whole day. However, parking is free on Fridays and public holidays.

In Sharjah, parking penalties can go as high as Dh1,000 for situations like parking in disabled restricted areas or failing to have a valid driver's license, Dh100 for going over the allotted time, and Dh150 for not having a ticket or failing to show one.
