According to Majid Al-Joker, the Chief Operating Officer of Dubai Airports, the restoration of Dubai International Airport's regular operations is expected to take place within a timeframe of less than 24 hours. This indicates that the return to normalcy entails the restoration of the airport's operational schedule and the attainment of its maximum capacity.

In an interview with the Emirates News Agency, WAM, he stated that there has been a gradual return to normalcy in Terminal 1 and Terminal 3 since the start of this morning, resulting in a more efficient movement process.

From the outset, he emphasized that the primary focus of Dubai Airports and its partners was to ensure the safety of passengers, reinstate normal operations, and minimize the impact of this crisis on airport travelers.

He emphasized the commendable efforts made by the airport's response and emergency teams, as well as various entities, strategic partners, and airlines, in coordinating efforts to restore normalcy and providing support and assistance to affected travelers and guests.

He mentioned that various agencies, both private and government, as well as agencies within and outside the airport, such as Airport Security, the General Administration of Residency and Foreigners Affairs, Dubai Customs, the Health Authority, the Roads and Transport Authority, and Dubai Taxi, have collaborated and are currently working to restore the situation to its original state. In addition to the Ambulance Corporation, Dnata Ground Handling, and various other entities.

The speaker further asserted that while the airport experienced a decline in capacity on the initial day following the onset of the weather condition, the human capacity dedicated to catering to and addressing the requirements of travelers exceeded the usual level. The objective was to guarantee the provision of the utmost level of care to these individuals.

In relation to the amenities offered to the impacted passengers currently at the airport, Majid Al-Joker elucidated that ongoing communication was being conducted with them to ascertain the diverse requirements that could be addressed. This encompassed provisions such as refreshments and meals, as well as the provision of comprehensive information, specialized guidance, flight rescheduling, or the booking of alternative flights.

In relation to the current status of airlines, he clarified that the majority of companies are currently operational. However, the situation is subject to frequent changes and updates. Consequently, the most effective approach to stay informed about the airlines and flights is to directly communicate with each traveler's airline in order to obtain the most precise and valuable information.

Conversely, Dubai Airports commended the outstanding endeavors of the personnel employed at Dubai International Airport and all members of the airport community, who work tirelessly to guarantee the comfort and safety of each guest. The airport expressed gratitude to the guests for their remarkable comprehension.
