RTA announces a new list of prohibitions on the Dubai Metro and trams

The transportation authority announced in a tweet that beginning on Friday, March 1, the usage of electric scooters within the Dubai Metro and Dubai Tram would be restricted. This is done to guarantee the safety of passengers as well as the safety of other people. One of the hashtags that RTA utilized was #YourSafetyOurPriority.

On Thursday morning, the authorities disclosed the existence of a robot that would be able to identify crimes committed by those who ride electric scooters and bicycles. Starting in March, the robot, which is tasked with surveillance and finding violations, will be put through its paces in demonstrations.
