Tuition fee increases in Dubai schools.

The tuition fees for Dubai schools are increasing.

Furthermore, the KHDA has made some school ratings available to help parents make well-informed decisions.

If a school's rating declined, it was not entitled to submit an application for any kind of fee increase.

This comes after private schools in Dubai were granted permission to raise their tuition rates by up to 5.2%, depending on how well they performed in the most recent annual inspections performed by the government.

Parents in Dubai start receiving school fee increase notification.

Notification of the increase in school fees has begun to be sent to parents in Dubai.

Some parents in Dubai schools have started receiving notifications about an increase in the amount of money that will be required to pay for school fees for the forthcoming school year.

In contrast to the Indian schools, which began their academic session in April, the international curricula schools will not begin their academic session until September.

It is important to note that parents are able to make educated judgments regarding the schools that their children attend by using the most recent ratings that have been issued by the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) for schools that have been inspected.

Dubai permits the amendment of school fees.

In Dubai, it is possible to make changes to the student fees.

An Education Cost Index (ECI) of 2.6% was announced by Dubai's Education Regulator, the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA), at the beginning of April. This index will allow schools to alter their tuition rates for the 2024–25 school year.

"This adjustment will be applicable to all years and will come into effect at the beginning of the academic term," the letter added. "This adjustment will come into effect."

Following a period of three years (2020-21, 2021-22, and 2022-23) during which they remained constant due to the pandemic caused by the COVID-19 virus, schools are now permitted to raise tuition for the second year in a row. Under the terms of the 2023–24 academic year, educational institutions were permitted to increase tuition by up to six percent.
