Flydubai announces new flights to Switzerland, Latvia, Estonia and Lithuania

Flydubai has unveiled plans to enhance its European network by introducing four new services, thus expanding its presence to 43 destinations across 21 countries in the continent.

In a significant development, Flydubai is set to become the first UAE national carrier to offer direct flights to EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg (BSL) starting on August 2. Additionally, the airline is making its debut in the Baltic region with direct flights to Riga International Airport (RIX) in Latvia, which will commence on October 11. Furthermore, Flydubai will commence operations at Tallinn Airport (TLL) in Estonia and Vilnius International Airport (VNO) in Lithuania on October 12.

Ghaith Al Ghaith, CEO of Flydubai, expressed pride in the airline's expanding network, highlighting the addition of diverse routes to its portfolio. He emphasized the significance of these new services in enhancing connectivity to Dubai's aviation hub and beyond, facilitating seamless travel experiences for passengers.

The dedication of Flydubai to offering dependable and convenient services was reaffirmed by Jeyhun Efendi, the airline's senior VP of commercial operations and e-commerce. Flydubai is expanding its network to include more European destinations, including Basel, Riga, Tallinn, and Vilnius. This will allow more European tourists to access the airline's broad route network, which includes destinations like Sri Lanka, Mombasa, Zanzibar, Malaysia, and the Maldives.

Flydubai will deploy its latest aircraft equipped with premium amenities such as lie-flat seats, internationally-inspired menus, and extensive entertainment options on these new routes. Passengers can expect a comfortable and enjoyable flying experience in both business class and economy class.

Operated from Terminal 3 at Dubai International Airport (DXB), these flights will also be codeshared with Emirates, providing passengers with enhanced connectivity options through Dubai's international aviation hub.

To further incentivize travelers, Flydubai has announced competitive fares for these routes, making air travel more accessible and affordable for passengers across all classes.
