Emirates and FlyDubai announce a partnership with Visa for a loyalty scheme

In order to provide its members with better service, Emirates Skywards has partnered with Visa for an extended period of time.

The new agreement will help Emirates Skywards achieve its goals of improving digital innovation and digitalization, strengthening cooperation with co-brand issuer partners in the GCC area, and implementing data-driven decision-making and tailored strategies.

Additionally, the partnership seeks to expand opportunities for offering more personalized rewards and products through co-branded card offerings.

The deal was signed by top officials from both Emirates and Visa, with Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline and Group, also in attendance. Divisional Senior Vice President of Emirates Skywards, Dr. Nejib Ben Khedher, was enthusiastic about the relationship and its ability to benefit committed members in the GCC area. To further Emirates Skywards' position as a pioneer in creating new digital solutions and experiences, he underlined the importance of the agreement.

Dr. Saeeda Jaffar, Senior Vice President and Group Country Manager for GCC at Visa, underscored the importance of the exclusive multi-year deal, highlighting Visa's global leadership in travel co-brands. She noted that the partnership aligns with the increasing preference for digital payments among outbound travelers, particularly in the UAE, and expressed Visa's commitment to enhancing the payment experience for travelers worldwide.

The strategic collaboration between Emirates Skywards and Visa is expected to drive mutual growth, increase investments in the co-brand program, and create new avenues for collaboration with financial partners across the region.

Members will benefit from tailored rewards and improved travel opportunities, leveraging data, technology, and resources effectively. Skywards and Visa co-branded cardholders can anticipate a more seamless customer experience, with exclusive offers such as accelerated Miles earning opportunities, personalized promotions, and tailored experiences tailored to individual preferences.
