Employees of the Dubai Government who work for civilian agencies are required to fulfill five specific requirements set forth by the Human Resources Department in order to be eligible for the performance bonus that His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum has authorized. Before the current year comes to a close, this bonus will be distributed.
Eligibility Criteria:
- The employee must be a qualified civilian employee.
- The bonus will be disbursed based on the results of the performance evaluation for the year 2022.
- The employee should have completed a minimum of one year of service by December 31, 2022.

- The employee must have a performance evaluation rating of no less than grade 3, labeled "Meets Expectations and Above."
Performance Bonus Approval:
In accordance with the directives issued by His Majesty's government agency, civilian employees are now eligible to receive performance-based incentives, as authorized by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Ruler of Dubai, Vice President, and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates.
The 152 million dirham incentive is mandated by Law No. 8 of 2018 of the Human Resources Department of the Dubai Government. In order to qualify for this incentive, Dubai government employees who are classified as public servants must satisfy the criteria established by the human resources department.
Bonus Amount Determination:
The bonus amount was determined based on evaluation levels and the employee's basic salary at the time of bonus approval. The disbursement is scheduled before the end of the current year, with individual percentages allocated to each employee by government agencies.
The bonus will be circulated to government agencies, and eligible employees are those who received a rating of 3 or above at the end of the performance evaluation cycle for the year 2022.
