Due to the fact that boxes of Panadol were found, the Dubai Court has decided to penalize expatriates with jail and a fine of 248 dirhams.

Two Arabs who were in possession of stolen property received a one-month jail sentence, deportation, and a Dhs248 fine from the Dubai Misdemeanor Court. When one of the defendants distracted the employee working at the drugstore, the other removed the medicine and hid it in his backpack. This allowed the defendants to steal seven boxes of Panadol from the premises of the pharmacy. They, on the other hand, escaped after the worker found out what they had done.

Two individuals were sentenced to jail time and fines for stealing Panadol boxes from a pharmacy in Dubai.

In November of last year, an employee complained to the police that a pharmacy that she was working for had been looted. The incident, which took place in the Al Nahda district of Dubai, was the result of the employee complaining to the police. According to the employee, the defendants went into the pharmacy and asked for an antifungal prescription. They were then presented with a selection of pharmaceuticals to choose from in response to their inquiry.

During the time that one of the defendants was in the process of attempting to purposely divert her attention, she observed the other defendant placing medications in a cloth bag that he had removed from his pocket. As soon as she confronted them with what she had witnessed, the defendants ran away, and she continued by saying that she reported the event to the authorities.

According to a statement made by a law enforcement officer, the suspects were successfully identified and taken into custody after a group of detectives gathered evidence from the location where the crime occurred and examined the CCTV cameras located within the pharmacy. As they were being questioned, the defendants denied that they had stolen Panadol from the pharmacy. Subsequently, when the defendants were confronted with the evidence, which included recordings from surveillance cameras as well as images of themselves when they were taking medications from another pharmacy, they were forced to admit to the theft.
