Dubai announces the resumption of regular service at metro and tram stations

Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) recently announced the reinstatement of several Dubai Metro stations following temporary closures due to heightened rainfall during a recent weather disturbance.

As per the most recent update provided by the authority, the Dubai Metro is now operational along the Red Line, encompassing stations from Centrepoint to Business Bay, as well as from Jebel Ali to Expo 2020.

The RTA disclosed the resumption of Dubai Metro services along the Red Line at Emirates Towers, Burj Khalifa/Dubai Mall, Financial Centre, and Business Bay stations. Efforts are ongoing to gradually reinstate operations at the remaining stations as part of the restoration process.

Regarding the Green Line, the RTA clarified that services are operational between the Telecommunications station and Abu Hail station, as well as from Al Khor station to Al Ras station.

Furthermore, the RTA assured that the Dubai Tram is currently operating according to its regular timetable, with all stations functioning at full capacity. This statement reaffirms the seamless functioning of the tram service, providing commuters with uninterrupted access to transportation facilities.

The announcement reflects the RTA's commitment to swiftly address and rectify any disruptions to public transportation caused by adverse weather conditions.
