It was recently announced during a press conference in Manila by a high-ranking government official in the Philippines that additional specialists from the Philippines may be flown into the UAE in order to meet a need in a certain industry.
According to Susan Ople, who serves as the secretary of the Philippine government's Department of Migrant Workers (DMW), the United Arab Emirates (UAE) is in need of extra healthcare specialists, a field in which Filipinos are highly regarded internationally.
According to a local media source that cited Ople, the United Arab Emirates is considering employing these specialists through a government-to-government relationship in order to exclude job seekers from having to pay any placement expenses. This was reported by the local media source.
The official noted that the Emirates are interested in a business-to-business track in addition to the recruiting strategy for Filipino businesspeople who want to engage with enterprises in Dubai and other regions of the nation. This was in addition to the recruitment plan that was already in place.
The Philippine government has been keeping a careful eye on the issue of granting more autonomy to workers who are employed from other countries. A recent agreement between the Department of Multinational Workforce and the Department of Trade and Industry would help Filipinos working abroad launch businesses with their families in the Philippines.
