Emirates Airlines stated that the company's flights have been temporarily canceled, and indicated this in a statement.

In addition, she declared in a statement that was published on her website that passengers aboard subsequent Emirates Airlines and Fly Dubai flights that were en route to Sudan would be prevented from leaving their current location until further notice. This message was uploaded on her website.

Customers whose travel plans were disrupted as a result of our decision and who booked bookings for their trips through travel agencies are obligated to get in touch with those agents in order to establish alternative travel plans.

Customers who have booked their flights directly with Emirates Airlines have the option of getting in touch with the airline's regional office to inquire about possible rebooking options.

Passengers who had travel to Sudan booked should contact their travel agents directly or reach out to Emirates or flydubai for rebooking options.

Khartoum has been the site of intense fighting between the army and the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces, in what is the latest in Sudan’s seemingly endless civil wars since independence in 1956.

On Saturday, a Saudia flight departing Khartoum airport was shot at while preparing to take off. The Saudi airline has since suspended all flights to and from Sudan.

She stated that with regard to the operation of Emirates Airlines, we are continuously monitoring the situation in Khartoum and its developments. She also mentioned that any fresh information will be made public as soon as it is available.
